Dear Faircrest Farms Friend, Fall is here, and so is the harvest! As our third growing season winds down, we’re inviting you to celebrate with us at the Faircrest Farms Open House on Tuesday, September 30th, from 6–8pm.
Happy Fall! On Friday, the balance tips and we’ll have more hours of dark than light. It’s hard to believe the growing season is already winding down. Yet now is the time for celebration—gathering in the harvest and reflecting on what has been an amazing season!
We’d love for you to celebrate with us at our Faircrest Farms Open House:
Tuesday, September 30th, 6–8pm
Faircrest Farms, 4116 Madison Ave, Ogden, UT
This special evening marks 3 years of farming in our neighborhood. Come tour the fields, meet your farmers, and enjoy free produce to take home. Here’s a photo of a few happy customers who recently visited our farm!
From the Fields
Though harvest season is slowing, it’s also a great time for planting cover crops in preparation for winter. In biodynamic farming, we try to “catch the wave” of nature’s energy at just the right moment. Done well, it brings fertility to the soil and renewed vitality to our plants—setting us up for abundant growth next year.
