Dear Faircrest Farms Customer,
We’ve got exciting firsts of the season—eggplant, Anaheim peppers, and collards have arrived! Alongside these, our salad mix is in full swing, packed with crunchy kale, sweet beets, delicious carrots, and fresh bunching onions.
Out in the fields, the cucumbers and tomatoes are climbing high and soaking up the sun. The heat is just what our squash loves—be sure to grab some zucchini for your 4th of July grilling plans! And yes, we finally have enough cherry tomatoes for pints.
Farm Moments Worth Sharing We’re constantly inspired by our amazing volunteers—helpers of all ages who show up with heart and hands ready. One little visitor gleefully pulled her first carrot, beaming, “Look, Mom, what I got!” Others are sowing seeds, turning compost, and prepping trays—every task moving the farm forward.
In the Community We’re proud to celebrate the graduation of six trainees from Grow Ogden, our 13-week farm-based job training program. These resilient individuals are moving on to jobs or education with new confidence and skills. Please join us in cheering them on!
