Dear Faircrest Farms Friends,
Sweet Summer Meets Fall Freshness
Harvest highlights, kitchen inspiration, and ways to stay connected.
We still have peaches and nectarines—and honestly, every bite feels like a little piece of heaven! Don’t miss them before they’re gone.
This week, we had some special visitors from Germany lending a hand on the farm—such a joy to share this place with friends from afar. Meanwhile, the fields are shifting with the season: Dino Kale is new on the scene, and there’s some fresh arugula to enjoy in this crisp, fall-like weather.
Did you catch the geese migrating overhead? That big seasonal switch is here! Luckily, we got our beds seeded just in time for the rain—spinach, lettuce, arugula, mizuna, dill, and cilantro are all on their way. We’re also adding more growing beds to capture these last sunny days before frost settles in.
And in the kitchen? Rita wowed our guests with zucchini boats stuffed with roasted peppers, squash, tomatoes, and beef—a true late-summer feast to remember.
