Faircrest Farms Website
We’re excited to bring you Faircrest Farms online. Yes, not only does it share our story but it is also an online store to help simplify purchasing the items you want. We are planning to transition to it fully next week. You’ll see an email from our website Shopify platform with a newsletter like this only in a blog format. This should make ordering and inventory management easier.
Shopify takes a credit card or PayPal, but not Venmo. So, we’ll be working through that transition with you. If you want to pay in cash, we will need to enter an order manually.
You’ll see the seedlings available for the plant sale.
Dave added the fifth shelf so we can fit 22 more trays of seedlings:
We’re grateful the secondary Pineview water has been turned back on. We’re busy prepping beds and laying irrigation lines.
Earth Day Grow Ogden:
Please join us and our community to celebrate Earth Day Grow Ogden celebration this Saturday, April 26th from 4:00 - 5:30 pm at 880 28th Street (location of the Grow Ogden farm). Please bring your family and friends with you. Speakers include State Rep. Jill Koford (Ogden), Alice Mulder, WSU Sustainability Program Director, a land acknowledgement from Ben Tecumseh Desoto, and performances from local artists. Interactive stations include: A bounce house and chalk art for the kids, baby chicks with Weber High FFA, junk journals with Sowing Seeds of Change, planting marigold seeds with the Girl Scout Brownies, Weber Neurodiverse & UTA public transportation, bird house craft with the First Presbyterian Church, WSU Sustainability Program, Weber Conservancy District, Deep Well Acupuncture, and Yoga with Farmer Karl.
